Wedding Overview ~ Anatomy of a 2nd Wedding ~ Style ~ Photographs Matter ~ What’s In My Bag ~ Gallery ~ Pricing
Your own budget is often the biggest factor in selecting a wedding photographer. Wedding photography pricing is all over the map – and for good reason. There are huge differences between photographers and what they offer and include.
How good are their photographs? See my gallery, decide for yourself.
What are they including in the price? See below for upfront pricing.
What equipment do they use? See What’s In My Bag.
Do they have back-up equipment? I bring nearly my entire arsenal just in case something fails (so far so good).
Do they have a good track record? I can give you references.
Do they do retouching? Every picture (except proofs) gets some degree of retouching – some may require very little, some may need a lot.
You probably have a budget and I respect that. That’s why I’m going to make this really, really easy.
One of my most frequently asked questions is “How much do you charge to shoot a wedding?”
It’s impossible to answer without knowing some details. For example, how many hours do they want coverage? Do they want prints and an album? Their answers can have a dramatic effect on the price.
Weddings start at around $800 and includes 4 hours coverage, a set of 4×6 proof prints, and a low resolution CD of all the images.
Here’s the package that includes everything I mentioned on the previous page.
